Sarah works in the neuromusculoskeletal out patient gym at Poole Hospital NHS Trust as a Band 7 out patient physiotherapist.

She has worked at Southampton University as a visiting lecturer on the Human Movement and Therapeutic Exercise Module. She then worked at Bournemouth University, where she worked as a Lecturer Practitioner on the BSc(hons) Physiotherapy course from 2005 until 2009. At Bournemouth she wrote and led the Lower Quadrant Musculoskeletal part of the course, and was involved in Practice Educator training, placement organisation; student selection procedures and post graduate training programs in lower limb rehabilitation. She also taught and assessed the Upper Quadrant Musculoskeletal unit; Life development; Child Health; Preparing for Professional Practise; Cardiovascular and Respiratory Units at undergraduate level.

Now back in full time clinical work, Sarah continues to specialise in the rehabilitation of amputees and the lower quadrant, from the orthopaedic out patient gym at Poole Hospital. She also does a contractual musculoskeletal assessment clinic at a local GP practice.

Sarah has completed and passed McKenzie and Cyriax courses and attended Kinetic control and Practical Podiatric Biomechanics courses amongst others.

A keen volleyball player (indoors and beach), Sarah also enjoys badminton, going to the gym, skiing and doing Body Balance and Pilates classes.
